We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with Mi Casa as they manage the renovation of a 37-unit, tenant-owned apartment building in Petworth. The building was purchased by existing tenants in 2016 under the Tenant’s Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA) program and utilizing funding from DHCD’s Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF). The renovations will include long-needed modernization of building systems and, most importantly, all of the units will remain affordable, with 25 designated for residents under 50% area mean income (AMI) and 12 under 80% AMI.
